Most of the researchers have developed integrated vendor buyer inventory system with different assumptions on demand pattern such as constant, stock-dependent, price-dependent, price-sensitive stock-dependent, ramp type demand etc. We have considered a single-vendor single-buyer integrated inventory model for deteriorating items with ramp type demand rate for both the vendor and buyer and multiple deliveries per order. Shortages are not allowed. A mathematical model incorporating the costs of both the vendor and the buyer is considered and a solution procedure is given to find the optimal solution of the model. A numerical example is given to illustrate the model. Sensitivity analysis is carried out to study the effects of changes in the parameters on optimum total cost, optimal order quantity and the cycle length.
